Water — recycle first, then harvest
make-up = people
× (demand × (1 − recovery) + 2–3 L)
+ farm (HATA −1 · BYOBU-G −3
UKI-P −5 L/day)
KUMO racks = ⌈residual ÷ 6 L⌉
Demand 60–100 L/person/day; MIZU-1 recovers 90–95 % net in desert conditions (vendor spec up to 97 %), so the harvester sizes to the residual — about 5–15× smaller than one that makes all water from air. In the desert KUMO covers drinking and cooking; with no source at all it must cover the whole residual. Planning yield 6 L/rack/day sits inside the 2.4–12 L range (24 kg sorbent × 0.1–0.5 L/kg/day, single-cycle passive data). On the Moon the loop is ISS-class (93–98 % target).

Energy — envelope first, then generate
load = Σ module avg W × 24 h
PV = kWp × yield(ground)
+14 % bifacial on snow
kWp = MIURA-W 4.5 · BYOBU-PV 4.0
Module loads are catalogue targets; six lights-out cassettes alone draw 86–115 kWh/day, which is why off-grid farms use daylight vaults first. kWp is calculated (active area × 20 % × 1 kW/m²). Yield per ground is a planning assumption replaced by PVGIS at the real pin (desert = 7 kWh/m²/day × 0.8). Polar winter falls to 0.2–0.6 kWh/kWp/day (reported).

Food and the loop
greens = HATA-4 × 6.1–8.9 kg/wk
herbs = BYOBU-G × 1–2 kg/wk
protein = UKI-P × 0.23–0.46
kg dry/wk
Cassette output from vertical-farm median yields (48–70 kg/m²/yr); duckweed at an indoor LED planning value; KAMADO-B turns 1–2 kg/day of residue into 0.15–0.5 kg larvae for feed. Glazed YOSHI-6G vaults add daylight crops that depend on the site and are not counted.

key-nights = keys × 365

Capacity, not a forecast. ADR and occupancy are 2025 US glamping benchmarks; opex, taxes and land rent are not sourced, so payback must be underwritten per site.

Crew time
crew = Σ service min/week
− TSURU 60–120 min
Each module carries a service-minute target (cartridge swaps, harvests, checks). TSURU walks the ridge rail and does the routine ones; the remainder is a local runner’s time.

Deploy days
on site = 0.5–1 d prep
+ Σ deploy-h ÷ (2 crews × 10 h)
+ 1–3 d commissioning
Deploy hours per module are targets (2–4 h per YOSHI, 2 h per HOSHI). No pour, no trench: screw piles, skis or pontoons. Potable sign-off waits for a lab result — a hotel opens when its water passes.

Price and SHIKINEN lease
kit = Σ qty × price band
lease = C·CRF(r,n) − R·SFF(r,n)
R = 0.2 C
CRF = r ÷ (1 − (1+r)^−n)
SFF = r ÷ ((1+r)^n − 1)
Bands are targets, not quotes; MIZU-1 is a partner OEM price not yet in the sweeps and is listed, not added. Lease example: C = 10,000, r = 10 %, n = 5, R = 2,000 → about USD 2,310/yr before service; maintenance and logistics are held to ≤ 15 % of the lease.

Durations are value-chain targets for a running micro-factory. Your reservation joins the roadmap phase that first builds your typology and ground; the phase gate has to pass first.
